It feels like just yesterday that I set up this site (with major help from Diana! www.criana.com)! It’s been a real trip expecting this little one and now he’s here. I didn’t post sonogram pics or update as much as I was hoping to but I’ll update now as much as possible.

So! He’s here! Matthew joined us on August 1st, 2006! He weighed in at 7 pounds 12 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long.

Matthew is 5 days old today and he is as precious as I could have hoped he’d be. Both he and his Mom are doing fine. He has a slight case of Jaundice but has his 2nd appt. with his pediatrician tomorrow to see how that’s coming along. The Doctor said it looks better already and is not uncommon for babies to get this and to be honest, he looks better already, but I’m no MD! Otherwise, he’s looking great and at his 1st appt., the Doc said that he is looking very healthy.

I’ll post back tomorrow with an update on his 2nd Doctor’s appt.

btw, the pic in the banner is of Matthew at about 24 hours old. The start of a new life! Isn’t it amazing?!?!
